We actively encourage and facilitate our students in all their personal sporting pursuits. As individuals and members of teams they have achieved national medals, sports scholarships, professional sports contracts and inter-county call ups, amongst others. Our Mercy College community is very proud of them all. Mercy College Woodford has a strong policy of actively promoting sporting opportunities among all our students. This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to provide greater access for learners to digital technology, developing students’ digital literacy skills, supporting the CBA process and theLeaving Certificate Vocational Programme.
